As the country is vast, air travel is often used for domestic trips. Flights also produce higher emissions than most other methods. On the other hand, they are fast, convenient, and comfortable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Traveling by train is another option in the US. However, networks aren\u2019t as up-to-date as they could be, meaning that people need to change trains often and journeys are long. High-speed rail could improve comfort, convenience, and journey times. In urban environments, subways and rail links provide efficient ways to travel while avoiding traffic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Waterways are another method of transport. It isn\u2019t only an option for coastal states. Those with lakes and rivers also have ferries and water taxis to allow for faster journeys across or along a body of water.<\/span><\/p>\n
